I think they had plenty of cherry flavor and I used special dark chocolate kisses. I only meant they are similar in looks and shape. I’m sorry you didn’t love them. If you overmeasure your flour they will taste like flour. Have you ever made these ahead of time and froze them? Can you make with strawberries instead of cherries? My husband’s favorite since you posted the recipe.
