Whether you’ve made them yourself or bought them from the supermarket, you might not eat them all after cooking.
So, is it possible to reheat fish cakes? To reheat fish cakes, you can either place them into a hot oven for around 20 minutes until warmed through or you can microwave them for 3 minutes or so. The best approach is to use the oven. Reheating fish cakes isn’t something that should cause you too much of a headache, particularly if you have stored them correctly in the fridge or freezer.
And while it’s best to enjoy them fresh after cooking them initially, at least from a taste perspective, you can still safely reheat them and enjoy your fish cakes at a later date. How to Reheat Fish Cakes in the Oven Reheating fish cakes in the oven is the best way to enjoy them, as this reheating method ensures fish cakes retain their delicious flavour and texture. Switch on your oven and preheat it to 350F or 175C. Line a baking tray with tin foil or greaseproof paper and place your fish cakes on top. Then, cover the fish cakes loosely with a piece of foil. Place your fish cakes on a microwave-safe plate and wrap them with cling film. Place the fish cakes in the microwave and blast them for three minutes on full power. If they’re not quite done, return them to the microwave for a further thirty seconds until they’re up to temperature.
